  • A valid driver’s license is required. International renters may need an International Driving Permit (IDP).
  • Renters must provide a major credit card in their name for the security deposit.

1.2 Reservations and Payments

  • All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Rental Car In Miami.
  • A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due at the time of pickup.
  • Prices are quoted in USD and include all applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated.

2. Rental Policies

2.1 Rental Period

  • The rental period begins and ends at the time and date specified in your reservation.
  • Late returns may incur additional fees of $100 per hour (or a full day’s rate if exceeding 2 hours).

2.2 Vehicle Use

  • Vehicles must be used only for legal purposes and operated in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Rentals are limited to the state of Florida unless prior written approval is obtained.
  • Off-road use, racing, or reckless driving is strictly prohibited.

2.3 Mileage

  • Most rentals include unlimited mileage within Florida. Additional fees may apply for out-of-state travel.

3. Insurance and Liability

3.1 Insurance Coverage

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Liability Insurance are included in the rental price.
  • Renters are responsible for any damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance, including tires, windshields, and undercarriage.
  • Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is optional but recommended.

3.2 Security Deposit

  • A security deposit (ranging from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on the vehicle) will be authorized on your credit card.
  • The deposit will be released within 5–7 business days after the vehicle is returned in the same condition.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Renter

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before pickup: Full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made 3–6 days before pickup: 50% refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup: No refund.

4.2 Cancellation by Rental Car In Miami

  • We reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle unavailability, extreme weather). In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

5. Vehicle Return and Condition

5.1 Return Policy

  • Vehicles must be returned clean, with a full tank of premium fuel, and in the same condition as received.
  • Failure to refuel will result in a refueling fee ($10 per gallon + service charge).
  • Late returns may result in additional charges (see Section 2.1).

5.2 Damage and Loss

  • Renters are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period.
  • Pre-existing damage must be reported at the time of pickup to avoid liability.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited and may result in additional fees or legal action:

  • Smoking or vaping in the vehicle.
  • Transporting pets without prior approval.
  • Using the vehicle for illegal activities, ride-sharing, or commercial purposes.
  • Modifying or tampering with the vehicle.

7. Fees and Charges

7.1 Additional Fees

  • Cleaning fee: Up to $300 if the vehicle is returned dirty.
  • Toll charges: Renters are responsible for all tolls, fines, and violations incurred during the rental.
  • Additional driver fee: $50 per day (maximum 2 additional drivers).

7.2 Traffic Violations

  • Renters are responsible for all traffic tickets, tolls, and parking fines during the rental period.

8. Privacy Policy

  • We collect and store personal information (e.g., name, contact details, driver’s license) to process your reservation.
  • Your data is protected and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Rental Car In Miami is not liable for personal injuries, loss of property, or indirect damages arising from the use of our vehicles.
  • We are not responsible for mechanical failures but will provide roadside assistance where possible.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County.
